Olive Oil Puffed Rice Treats
6 Tbsp. ENZO Organic Delicate Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2, 10 oz bags of any size marshmallows
10 Cups Puffed rice cereal, or a small cereal of your choice
Optional mix-ins or toppings; ENZO favorites include sprinkles, flaky sea salt, and mini chocolate chips
Line a 9-inch square baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease and set aside.
In a large saucepan, heat Extra Virgin Olive Oil with marshmallows until melted.
Remove from heat and gently mix puffed rice cereal or other small cereal of your choice into melted marshmallows. This would be when you would add any mix-ins like sprinkles or mini chocolate chips.
Add combined mixture to the greased or parchment paper lined baking dish and gently press down until completely spread out. If desired, add toppings like flaky sea salt and store in refrigerator until cooled.
Once cooled, cut into servings with oiled cookie cutter or sharp knife.
